Coronado Islands Yellowtail

Captain Greg of the Pride just called in with 32 Yellowtail and 15 Barracuda for the first few stops of their Overnight Mexican Coast trip. These are an excellent grade of Yellowtail. The Pride has trips departing every evening through Thursday so don't hesitate to make reservations and take advantage of this prime Yellowtail fishing.

6-28-2012Great Bluefin Tuna fishing today at 140-150 miles. Some boats in the area are approaching 100 Bluefin for the day. The fish are 20 -30 pounds and the weather is beautiful. The 3/4 day and 1/2 day boats are getting daily shots at a very good grade of Yellowtail. Mostly 18-25 pound fish with some over 30 pounds. Barracuda, Calico Bass, Sand Bass and a variety of rockfish are also spicing up the local fishing opportunities. Offshore the weather has improved so keep an eye out for improved Tuna fishing.
