Jumbo Yellowtail show continues

The 3/4 day and 1/2 day boats are getting daily shots at a very good grade of Yellowtail. Mostly 18-25 pound fish with some over 30 pounds. Barracuda, Calico Bass, Sand Bass and a variety of rockfish are also spicing up the local fishing opportunities.
Offshore the weather has improved so keep an eye out for improved Tuna fishing.

6-25-2012Fishing is heating up at the Coronado Islands. The San Diego is returning from a three quarter day catching 23 yellowtail, 66 sand bass and 32 rockfish. The ocean has laid down nicely and the fishing is improving by the day. The San Diego is returning from a three quarter day trip catching 9 yellowtail, 3 barracuda, 11 calico bass and 90 sand bass(limits). We had good barracuda fishing with lots of rockfish for the morning half day today. With the nice ocean conditions, fishing should improve greatly....... Read More
