Steve Talmadge
Steve Talmadge called in to let us know what they did on the Flash today, "The bait today went belly up, yesterday we roped some nice bass, but today it didn't happen. They just weren't chomp'n so I took my crew & my 6 anglers up the coast, we had wide open rockfishing. We got lingcod, we got 2 keeper Lingcod with a half dozen sinkers. We caught over 100 Rockfish in about 3 to 3 1/2 hours and we just kept the better ones because I am using barbless hooks. It is easy to flip them off and let them go and keep the better ones. And we also had about an 18 lb. Salmon That a guy hooked and brought it to the boat, we were legal because of the circle hooks. I wanted the fish so bad,but he shook his head twice, flipped the hook and swam off. But it was a fun day, the weather was good and everybody had a blast.
"This next week, 4th of July is pretty much taken. I do have some room on Tuesday and the following week I have a little bit of room. Everybody is having a good time, the fishing is good. If you have any questions you can call me, Captain Steve, Flash Sportfishing at 510-851-2500."
