Shaver Lake produces a 10.2 lb Trout

I do not share the day's catch much, but I was especially happy for Leon Jennings and his son Dr. Dave Jennings for catching a 10.2 pounder and a 4.8 pounder. We threw a catchable on to show the difference between catchables and true trophies. I know that some of you have already caught some beautiful trophies with us already this year, but 10.2 pounds is the biggest on our boat this year. It is slower the past couple weeks. We have done pretty well, but today's catch was great.

Trolling at Shaver Lake slowed this past week with limits possible, but you have to work at it to get them. Guide Dick Nichols of Dick's Fishing Charters reported that his clients had caught some limits for each angler on board but as the week progressed, limits were hard to get.
