15.69 lb. Trout caught at Shaver Lake

Just when you think a 12 pound 6 oz. bow is big, in comes Torsia Lee, from Fresno, with a monster 15 pound 11 ounce rainbow caught in Shaver Lake. Lee was still fishing at an unkown location on the lake fishing with Power Bait. The fish was weighed and photographed at the Shaver Lake Sports and leads the SLTTP Summer Derby. Reportively, the biggest bow planted was a 17 pounder. It may be next.

Guide Dick Nichols of Dick's Fishing Charters at Shaver Lake reported good fishing all week at Shaver Lake. Many trophy size trout were weighed in at the two Shaver Lake Trophy Trout Project official weigh stations, Shaver Lake Sports and Young's Sporting Goods this week.
