Chubasco II has a great day fishing for Calico's & announces a Memorial Day Schedule change

"We were on our 9:00 to 4:00 Local Trip today, we're on our way in right now" reported Captain Ernie. "We had very, very good Calico Bass fishing. So it really looks like summer is here. At least some good fishing is upon us here after the Yellowtail down at the Coronado Islands yesterday. Now we have really good Calico bass fishing to go on top of that.
"We have decided to spend Memorial Day Monday down at the Coronado Islands, so we switched up our schedule just a little bit. For those that would like to join us it looks like Monday is going to be the beginning of some really nice weather. So we'll spend Memorial Day down at the Coronado Islands chasing some Yellowtail. We'll be back Bass fishing on Tuesday & a Bass fishing trip on Sunday also. If you'd like to join us for any of those trips give us a call at 619-599-8290. Captain Ernie called in to tell us about the Chubasco II fishing today, "We went out with a real light load of 8 people. We had a nice trip, we ended up with 2 Yellowtail to 32 lbs. and a White Seabass that was around 30 lbs. We ended up losing a few Yellowtail and a couple to the Sea Lions also. Because of that we were planning on going to Mexico tomorrow, but we will be fishing locally again...... Read More
