Chubasco II goes out for Barracuda & comes home with White Seabass

Capt. Ernie called in from the Chubasco II, "We're about to pull in the harbor here at Mission Bay. It was a really, really interesting day today. We had some high hopes to catch some Barracuda. We ended up settling on some big ol' White Seabass. We got 3 Tanker Seabass on board for 18 anglers. The smallest one was about 42 and the biggest one we haven't even weighed yet. It bottomed out our 50 lb. scale. We also caught some Thresher Sharks. The total for the day was 3 White Seabass, 2 Thresher Sharks and 42 Sand Bass.

"We are going to be back out there on Friday and we have plenty of room. If you'd like to join us on Friday to catch some Seabass give us a call at 619-599-8290."

This 65.5 pound tanker was caught by Ralph Limon.
