Fish Report for 11-5-2011
Royal Polaris' On A Roll
11-5-2011
Bill Roecker
Weather continues to be good, but it did cool off some today, with the overcast clouds, but that was the only thing that cooled off. Fishing today was good once again, with the Wahoo making a good showing. We did catch a mix bag of fish today, with Wahoo making the bulk of the catch. We caught Wahoo, Dorado, Yellowfin tuna, Yellowtail, and Grouper. Most of the Wahoo were in the 40 to 50-pound range.
We are headed to Magdalena bay tonight. We only need to catch one tank, so we should be underway quickly. We will continue to head south for the rest of the trip. We are hoping to find some jumbo Yellowfin tuna for our group. We would like to give a special thanks to the sponsors of the trip: Owner hooks, Salas Jigs (for the Halloween Jigs) which caught the bulk of the Wahoo this trip, and Bozo Bombs, and Team Red Cup Navy."
