Shogun Finds Good Fishing
9-1-2011
Bill Roecker
Norman Kagawa tied his Shogun to the dock at Fisherman's Landing September 1 after a four-day Larry Fanchard charter trip with 21 anglers aboard. "It was good fishin' for bluefin and yellowfin in the tuna area," remarked Norm, "and also for yellowtail at Cedros Island. About 90 percent of our yellows were hooked on the yoyo iron."
There was no jackpot on the trip. Rick Brown of San Clemente posed with one of the better bluefin caught. He said he got his on a sardine and 25-pound line.
