Short Trip Works Out For Shogun
8-9-2011
Bill Roecker
"Local Yellowfin," said the report from Shogun August 8. "It was a great day to be on the water! We spent this 1.5 day trip trolling and hitting kelp paddies, jig strikes and small sonar schools. Yellowfin averaged 12 to 25 pounds. The lone bluefin Jack Pot will go 40 pounds and yellowtail ranged in size from six pounds on up to about 25. The weather is absolutely gorgeous, 5 to 8 knots of wind, overcast."
