We departed today for a 7-day trip with one of our favorite groups, Coastside Fishing Club. We loaded up and departed from the dock around 10:30 am. So, with a nice load of big sardines we head south. We have a bunch of return guys and a few firs timers. Our charter master is Dale (dropper-loop) Myer; he passed out goodie bags to everyone today and will be doing some other giveaways during the trip. Tom Hibner is back with his son Ben. Gene Blazick and Len Damerow along with Fernando and Daniel Perez, and our good buddy Phil Lisi are also back. We have our eye on what is left of hurricane Dora, hopes of a trip down to the ridge and or the stones are our hopes for this trip. The weather will help make our decision a little easier tomorrow. Today we all just kicked back and swapped some stories from past trips with the new guys. A couple guys played dominoes and a few watched the waves out in the sun with a cold beer.
