Today started off with the skiffs in the water and ready to go at 6 am. The first run produced good bass fishing. We went to the kelp and with good weather. It was game on. Bass up to 9 lbs were landed, Steve Weight had one around 9 and Kenny Shoning had a jumbo grumpy plaid bass. Then big boat went for some yellows and scratched away all morning. In the later part of the day, the wind came up and we ducked in behind the island in the skiffs. Over all it was a day full of action and we all had fun. We are staying put tonight and hoping for a repeat tomorrow. A short move in the morning will set us up to fish a different spot here at the island, till then the Q crew's out!!
