Hello Anglers,
We spent a few hours last night and caught a few hundred scad and green mackerel then we made our way back to the Bluefin area at daylight. The morning did not produce anything for us except a few small yellowfin and a small mako shark. We finally left the area and headed for the rocks at 0930. When we arrived at the rocks we did not see much fish right away but around 1300 we started to see sign of fish. There was a good show on the surface with 40 to 80 pound yellowfin boiling around and with the Marlin we had hooked jumping around the boat made it exciting to watch. We managed to put together a pretty good day with steady yellowfin action coming on the sardines and surface jigs being skipped along the top of the water. Before the dinner call we had a good flurry on tuna with a couple of yellowtail and a lone wahoo mixed in to end our day with. The two pictures that I am sending are of Amir Yomtov with a nice yellowfin tuna he caught on a sardine and 50 pound line, and the second is of Glenn Evans with a wahoo he also caught on a sardine. Wish us luck tomorrow, Shawn and the crew
