Hello Anglers,

Today we fished Alijos rocks and the weather was a little choppier than it has been. We had a slow pick on yellowfin from 30 to 115 pounds and a few nice yellowtail in the morning hours but after 1100 it turned very poor with not much sign around us. We left the rocks and ran out to the bank and found very good life around but no tuna. We put the anchor down and tried for yellowtail and had a good shot on 28 to 50 pound yellowtail which only bit for about a hour and then they disappeared. At around 1700 we left to run towards the ridge and we are going to see what we can come up with there, wish us luck. Hello Anglers,

We had another day of nice weather with a little bit of breeze and almost zero swell to work with. There was no lack of kelps around but there was a lack of fish on the kelps with the exception of a few that had some Dorado and wahoo on them. Our best kelp was for 10 wahoo and very good Dorado fishing to the point we had to leave them biting and we released many of the eager fish....... Read More

Hello Anglers,

Today we fished offshore in beautiful flat calm weather and concentrated on tuna on porpoise schools. There was outstanding sign of mixed size yellowfin from 10 to 80 pounds and a few around 100 pounds. Unfortunately we could not get a tuna over 40 pounds to cooperate for us but we had a great day on 12 to 40 pound yellowfin. Tomorrow we are going to try fishing kelp paddies for wahoo and Dorado.Wish us luck. Reported by: Shawn...... Read More
