Hello Anglers,

Today we fished offshore in beautiful flat calm weather and concentrated on tuna on porpoise schools. There was outstanding sign of mixed size yellowfin from 10 to 80 pounds and a few around 100 pounds. Unfortunately we could not get a tuna over 40 pounds to cooperate for us but we had a great day on 12 to 40 pound yellowfin. Tomorrow we are going to try fishing kelp paddies for wahoo and Dorado.Wish us luck. Reported by: Shawn Steward

Hello Anglers,

Around 0300 in the morning we arrived at Cedros Island and began making Mackerel. We were able to get a couple of tanks of bait before we took off for Natividad. When we got to the island we saw very little life on the ridge we were on and only caught 6 yellowtail there so we left. We started our trip at Guadalupe Island to see if we could pick up a few big yellowfin before we start down below.
