Hello Anglers,

Today we fished around the ridge and as soon as we got on the first shallow we got a 5 way jigstrike on wahoo and landed four of them 30 to 50 pounds. While we were pulling on the wahoo we had a spot of yellowfin from 15 to 50 pounds get on us and it was mixed with skipjack but we sorted through it and picked up what we needed for the day in a two hour drift. It was pretty good fishing with enough 30 to 50 pound yellowfin to keep it interesting. The rest of the afternoon we tried for wahoo and yellowtail and picked up a total of 17 wahoo and a couple of handfuls of yellowtail for the day. Tonight we are going to anchor on a shallow above the ridge and try for yellowtail in the dark. Reported by: Shawn Steward

Today we fished Alijos rocks and the weather was a little choppier than it has been. We had a slow pick on yellowfin from 30 to 115 pounds and a few nice yellowtail in the morning hours but after 1100 it turned very poor with not much sign around us. Dorado fishing

We had another day of nice weather with a little bit of breeze and almost zero swell to work with.There was no lack of kelps around but there was a lack of fish on the kelps with the exception of a few that had some Dorado and wahoo on them.
