Jess Ranch Lakes March 13 Fish Report

Trout bite was very good this week with anglers using Power Bait (especially salmon peach, orange and spring green), night crawlers, jigs and lures to catch trout. Bite over all was best between 9 and 11 am and 1 and 3 PM. Hot spots included the eastern and western shore of lake 3 as well as the eastern and northern shores of lake 2.

Catfish were biting Power Bait, night crawlers and mackerel from the western shore of lake 3 and the south eastern shore of lake 2 near the wall.

Late winter storms didn't keep anglers from getting in some quality fishing time.
