Trout action was excellent this week with anglers using Power Bait ( especially rainbow, spring green, salmon peach and garlic), night crawlers, jigs and lures to catch limits. Hot spots included the western and eastern shore of lake 3 as well as the northern and eastern shore of lake 2. Catfish were biting on mackerel, meal worms and night crawlers from the western shores of lake 3 and lake 2. Bite over all was best before 11am with an afternoon kick after 2pm.

She use green turbo Power Bait with garlic from the southwestern shore of lake 2. Gabby Nagy of Hesperia reeled in a 4 Lbs 4 Ozs trout to limit using rainbow Power Bait from the western shore of lake 3 near the bridge.

Fontana angler, Michelle Watson caught a limit that included a 4 Lbs 13 Ozs rainbow. She use green turbo Power Bait with garlic from the southwestern shore of lake 2. Gabby Nagy of Hesperia reeled in a 4 Lbs 4 Ozs trout to limit using rainbow Power Bait from the western shore of lake 3 near the bridge. Shane Thomason of Rancho Cucamonga scored a 4 Lbs 3 Ozs trout on a night crawler while fishing the northern shore of lake 2. Frank Lyman of Upland caught his 3 Lbs 6 Ozs rainbow on a Power Mouse (orange Power Worm/spring green Power Bait) from the eastern shore of lake 3. Burt Breland of Los Angeles scored a 15 Lbs 3 Ozs catfish on a spring green Power Bait and meal worm combo while fishing the western shore of lake 2 near the drain.
