Trout action was excellent on both lakes with anglers using Power Bait (especially salmon peach, garlic, spring green and rainbow), night crawlers, jigs and lures ( jakes, thomas buoyants, power worms) to catch lots of limits. Hot spots included the western and eastern shore of lake 3 as well as the eastern and northern shores of lake 2.

Catches of the Week:
Hesperia angler Richard Enriquez, reeled in a 3 Lbs rainbow on spring green Power Bait while fishing the eastern shore ofl lake 3. Trudy Ropelato of Hesperia caught her 3 Lbs 12 Ozs trout on a shad green Power Worm from the eastern shore of lake 3. Don Nott of Alhambra caught a 3 Lbs 11 Ozs rainbow on an orange Power Worm while fishing the eastern shore of lake 3 across from the pump house. Chris Johnson of Rancho Cucamonga reeled in a 4 Lbs 2 Ozs rainbow using salmon peach Power Bait from the eastern shore of lake 2. Mark Bailor of Riverside reeled in a 3 Lbs 13 Ozs trout on a night crawler while fishing the northern shore of lake 2. The Lakes' Hatchery stocks trout every Friday year round.
