Trout action was excellent on both lakes with anglers using Power Bait (especially salmon peach, garlic, spring green and rainbow), night crawlers, jigs and lures ( jakes, thomas buoyants, power worms) to catch lots of limits. Hot spots included the western and eastern shore of lake 3 as well as the eastern and northern shores of lake 2.

Special Holiday Hours:
December 31st: 7am to 12pm.
January 1st: Closed New Years Day.
January 2nd: 7am to 4pm.

Attached Pic: Eleven year old, Kendra Ocull of Pinion Hills, scored a 6 lbs. 8 ozs rainbow using spring green Power Bait with garlic while fishing the western shore of lake 3 near the pump house at Jess Ranch Lakes with her dad. Both father and daughter caught limits as well.

Catches of the Week: Eleven year old, Kendra Ocull of Pinion Hills, scored a 6 lbs. 8 ozs rainbow using spring green Power Bait with garlic while fishing the western shore of lake 3 at the pump house with her dad. Both father and daughter caught limits as well. Karl Mayer of Azusa reeled in 3 lbs 6 ozs trout to limit using salmon peach Power Bait on the eastern shore of lake 3. Jay Granville of Chino Hills caught his limit that included a 4 lbs 2 ozs trout. He caught the big fish on a silver kastmaster while fishing the northern shore of lake 2. The Lakes' Hatchery stocks trout every Friday year round. This year the Lakes' hatchery is amping up the weekly trout stockings with bigger fish overall. Stormy weather and wind tested anglers skills and tackle but those who persevered took home fish. Lots of limits were caught before 11am.
