Great fishing weather, (cool 40 degree mornings and mid-60's afternoons with light winds), continue to keep the trout bite active throughout the day. Anglers enjoyed excellent trout action on both lakes with Power Bait ( especially salmon peach, orange, yellow and rainbow), night crawlers (inflated or a marshmallow combo), jigs and lures ( white crappie, orange and green Power Worms, green jigs, jakes and Thomas Buoyants), to catch limits and big fish. Lots of limits went out with close to a 3 trout per angler average. Hot spots included the eastern and western shores of lake 3 as well as the northern and eastern shores of lakes 2.

Hesperia angler, Joe Vicario, reeled in a 4lbs 8 ozs rainbow from the logged eastern shore of lake 3 and used an orange Power Worm. Mike Frame of Rancho Cucamonga caught his 3 lbs 8 ozs on an orange Power Worm while fishing the western shore of lake 3.

The Lakes' Hatchery stocks trout every Friday year round. This year the Lakes' hatchery is amping up the weekly trout stockings with bigger fish overall.
