Striper bite remains good. Despite a full moon, weather condition that ranged from 95 degrees to rainy , foggy, and down right cold. But surprisingly, action has stayed very steady. Were averaging six fish per day, most in the 5 to 6 lb class. the line side are feeding near shore 15 to 20 feet deep early morning. Later moving out in 100 plus water suspended 40 to 60 feet deep as the day heats up. Best areas to try are Deer island, south bay, and in front of the boat ramp to the dam. We are using anchovies, shad, and swim bait laced with Pro-Cure scent, on ultra light equipment. Lake level is starting to recede. Water temperature by afternoon is 79 degrees.
