Trout action was very good this week despite all the storm activity. Anglers used Power Bait ( especially salmon peach, garlic, and spring green), night crawlers, jigs and lures all caught trout. Lots of limits went out. Most trout were near or over 2 pounds. Hot spots included the eastern shore of lake 3 and the northern and eastern shores of lake 2.

Ken Henderson of Azusa caught a 3 lbs 8 ozs trout using a Power Mouse from the western shore of lake 2 near the drain. Lynn Kester of Riverside reeled in a 3 lbs 13 ozs trout using salmon peach Power Bait from the eastern shore of lake 2.

The Lakes' Hatchery stocks trout every Friday year round.
