Trout action was good this week with anglers using Power Bait ( especially spring green, salmon peach, orange and garlic), night crawlers, lures and jigs to catch limits. Most trout were near or over two pounds. Hot spots included the eastern shore and western shore from the pump house to the bridge of lake 3 and the northern and western shore of lake 2. Catfish were hitting shrimp and mackerel with anglers reporting fair action on the southeastern shore of lake 2.

Catches of the Week: Mike Iacuzzo of Rancho Cucamonga caught his 3 lb 9 ozs rainbow using a cheese Power Worm from the eastern shore of lake 3. Oregon angler, Chad Trostel reeled in a 3 lbs 7 ozs trout on orange Power Bait while fishing with his dad and brother on the western shore of lake 3. Dave Hagen of Phelan caught a 3 lbs 4 ozs rainbow using a night crawler with his special attractant while fishing the grassy point of lake 3. Scott Dresden of Long Beach caught his 3 lbs 11 ozs rainbow on a Thomas Buoyant while fishing the western shore of lake 3.
