Despite wind and rain, the trout bite was good again this week. Anglers used Power Bait ( especially garlic, salmon peach, orange, lemon twist and rainbow), night crawlers, lures and jigs to catch limits. Best bite is still before 10am. Hot spots included the eastern shore and western shore near the pump house of lake 3 as well as the northern and eastern shores of lake 2. Catfish were caught from the south eastern shore of lake 2 on mackerel, shrimp and Power Bait.

Catches of the Week: Ontario angler, Armando Acevedo, reeled in a 3 lbs 14 ozs rainbow on a trout teaser from the northern shore of lake 3. Twelve year old angler, Daniel Alaniz of Fontana caught his 3 lbs 8 ozs trout using rainbow Power Bait while fishing the eastern shore of lake 3. Greg Touches, a six year old angler from Victorville caught his 3 lbs 1 ozs rainbow on a night crawler from the northern shore of lake 3. Dave Hagen of Phelan caught a 3 lbs 4 ozs rainbow using a night crawler with his special attractant while fishing the grassy point of lake 3.
