Jess Ranch Lake Fish Report

11-15-2009
Jess Ranch Lakes Staff

Trout bite was up and down this week with anglers reporting very good action on both lakes. The variable winds coming out of the north and east affected the bite throughout the day. But most anglers caught fish and many scored limits with some nice over 3 pound trout caught from both lake 2 and 3. Power Bait ( especially rainbow, salmon peach, garlic and orange), night crawlers (floated with marshmallows or Power Bait), jigs and lures all caught limits. Hot spots included the western and eastern shore of lake 3 as well as the northern and eastern shores of lake 2. Catfish were caught on mackerel, night crawlers and shrimp with fish up to 5 pounds caught by anglers. Hot spots included the eastern shore of lake 2 from the concrete ramp to the wall and the western shore of lake 3 near the pump house.
