Success Lake dropped to 25 percent of its storage capacity, and bass anglers reported catching small bass with drop shot, Texas rigs, and Senkos. Six-to-eight-inch worms in Oxblood and Margarita Mutilator were the ticket. Spooks and Whopper Ploppers boated fish near the inlet, and a few glide bait bass were reported at the launch ramp. Catfishing has been good for anglers using dip bait after dark. Whisker fish were reported on sandy flats and in deeper coves. Crappie anglers reported decent fishing near the marina and in the submerged trees at the inlet.
