Crane Prairie has been decent
8-23-2024
Fly and Field Outfitters
Crane Prairie has been decent. Some days are excellent, others not so much. If you hit it on a good day, fish it with balanced leeches, red and tan worms, two-bits, and zebra midges. Always fun to fish your flies under a big foam dry rather than an indicator in case you find any fish looking up but indicators are fine too. Stripping buggers, damsels, and leeches on a sinking line is also a good way to cover water and find some willing fish. Get down deep and fish the Deschutes arm!
