South Fork Updates
8-2-2024
Mike Lawson
The South Fork has recently seen its Salmonfly hatch end, however there are still some golden stones and yellow sallies hanging around the upper sections of the river for those wanting to still chase the smaller stones. For these bugs I would recommend using the Henrys Fork Foam Stone Golden or a Lawson’s Yellow Sally. The lower sections of the river have started to see some hopper activity which will only get better as the season progresses. Flows near Irwin are currently at 8550 cfs.
