Tough Fishing on Lower Henry's Fork
8-2-2024
Mike Lawson
With flows at 1620 cfs the lower Henry’s Fork around Ashton has also seen tough fishing here in the dog days of summer. This wouldn’t be the first section of river I would recommend to fish on, however if you are looking to fish in Ashton following the early morning late evening gameplan will bode more success than fishing the middle of the day. For flies I would have hoppers like the More or Less or morrish hopper along with split case PMDs, smaller rubberlegs, and smaller pheasant tails.
