A full night then leisurely morning when quality yellowtail were consistently available. Made to order. Though conditions changed dramatically it did not appear to bother the yellows that stayed with it until we had our fill. Heading up fat and happy we aimed for the inside looking to catch a shoulder of the coast to lessen a forecasted bumpy ride. A solid move that paid dividends we endured a brief shake up before the benefit kicked in. From there it was smooth sailing to our coastal zone of choice. Looking to close out the voyage with a few trophies and variety in a beautiful setting and calm seas we’ll see if we can deliver. Photo today features Royal Star veteran and good friend Craig Walker and my son Duke sharing the moment with Craig’s 30 pound class yellowtail.
