Fish Report for 5-24-2024

Crane Prairie has been fishing well

5-24-2024
Fly and Field Outfitters

Crane Prairie has been fishing well, and very well in comparison to early last season. Some days have been better than others but the good days have been really good. Dark and olive leeches, two-bits, chironomids/midges, assassins, two-bits and blood worms have been picking up fish. Good reports from the deschutes arm. As always stripping buggers and leeches is a good way to cover some water and find some active fish. The fish seem to be schooled up so where you find a few you will likely find more. Morning to mid-day has seemed to be fishing better than evenings.
