4-26-2024
Chad Burton and Chris Borden
At Ming the Bass have turned on and are in full spring bite mode. Our local contacts reported excellent action with buzz baits, frogs, and poppers. They also fooled some bass with Berkley slobber knockers in green pumpkin, black/purple and white. Aarons Magic in green pumpkin, brown/purple and sprayed grass have been finding a few takers too. Drop shots have been generating numbers, but quality came on spinner baits during the early morning hours. Later in the day, crappie have been chasing minijigs and small or medium live shiners. The bluegill bite is excellent on wax worms and meal worms.
