Anglers reported that the water is still murky from prior storms

The lake level held near 92 percent of its storage capacity, and anglers reported that the water is still murky from prior storms. Bass anglers used darker colored finesse baits in 5 to 25 feet of water with drop shot, Texas rigs, and Carolina rigs all scoring bites. Main and secondary points have been good place to begin the hunt. Bluff walls were a good option as well. Senko style baits worked for plenty of fish too. Striped bass anglers trolled Kastmasters on leadcore line. Umbrella rigs worked for good numbers as well. Shore anglers reported decedent striped bass fishing with cut baits in the marina. Catfish picked up dip baits, cut baits and live worms in deeper coves around the lake.
