River Walk was stocked again this week making it the 3rd stocking in last four weeks. The trout bite has been excellent here. Our contacts reported an excellent trout bite with trout jigs, small spinners, Powerbait and GULP! Pinched Crawlers. The bass action is fair with finessed soft plastics. Bluegill are fair on worms. The 12th Annual Bakersfield Firefighters Fishing Derby will be held in the Fall this year on November 23rd, 2024.
