Fish Report for 12-15-2023
The fall striper bite continued for another week
12-15-2023
Chad Burton and Chris Borden
The fall striper bite continued for another week with aqueduct anglers reporting good fishing. Bait anglers did well Carolina rigging cut sardines, live worms, and jumbo live minnows after check gates. The lure crowd found bitters during low light conditions with Flukes, small swimbaits, jerkbaits, and tube baits. For the Flukes and tubes a lift and drop bottom bouncing techniques produced good results. Catfish anglers soaked dip baits, chicken liver, and nightcrawlers where fast moving water met calm. Largemouth reports were slow, but small plastics on the drop shot or Senkos in green pumpkin and baitfish colors are always reliable options.
