Chad Burton and Chris Borden
This week the first trout stocking of the season went in River Walk on Tuesday. Since the trout plant it’s been limit style trout fishing. Anglers have been scoring trout with pinched crawlers and mini jigs in white, chartreuse, perch and pearl blue. The bluegill bite is very good with any live worm fished under a bobber or a split-shotted rig. Small crappie have been coming on worms and minijigs. Small catfish are going for live worms and dip baits.
