Pyramid Lake held near 90 percent of capacity, and water temperatures continued to fall. Anglers reported good fishing for striper, catfish, and bass. The striper took cut sardines, anchovies, and blood worms in Yellowbar and near Chumash Island. Striped bass also fell for jerkbaits, Kastmasters, and trolled umbrella rigs. Large and smallmouth took drop shot, Senkos, and Texas rigged worms in 10 to 40 feet of water with the deeper fish falling for jigging spoons. Green pumpkin and purple have been the hot colors. Catfish anglers reported catching good sized whisker fish while using cut sardines, garlic scented nightcrawlers, and dip bait in deeper coves around the lake.
