The Point Loma reported 2 Bluefin Tuna and one Yellowfin Tuna for their full-day trip.

The Primetime called in this afternoon reporting LIMITS of Bluefin Tuna for their 1.5 day trip. Most of these fish were in the 20-30 lb range.

The Sauerfish reporting with a haul of 11 Bluefin Tuna and one Yellowtail for their 6-pack charter.

The Daily Double called in from their morning trip with 183 Rockfish for their AM 1/2 day trip. 

The New Lo-An called in this morning with LIMITS of Bluefin Tuna (72) for their 2 day trip. Half of these fish are in the 30-40 lb range and half are in the 80-90 lb range.

Friday catch report:

The Daily Double PM trip came back with 59 Calico Bass and 13 Rockfish. Captain Fred reported great Bass fishing conditions for tthe PM trip. 

The Point Loma came back from their Offshore Full Day trip with 6 Bluefin Tuna and 12 Yellowfin Tuna. 

The Mission Belle called in with 70 Barracuda, 27 Yellowtail, 12 Rockfish, 40 Whitefish, 9 Calico Bass, 17 Sculpin and 2 Lingcod for their Full Day. 

The Daily Double came back from their AM 1/2 day trip with 225 Rockcod for their morning trip!

The 2023 schedules for the El Capitan, New Lo-An, Oceanside 95 and T-Bird are now available online. Bluefin Tuna from 40# to 100# are biting in 1.5 day range. You can book your reservation through the following links:

Recommended tackle for any of these trips would inclued a 30# live bait rod, 50# bait/jig rod and a heavy outfit with 80# or 100# for sinker rigs / knfie jigs.

Local trips:

The Daily Double offers ½ day trip departing everyday at 8:30 AM and 3:00 PM. They have been fishing the local kelp beds for bass, Barracuda and Rockfish. Call our office at (619) 223-1627 to book your reservation.
 

The Mission Belle has full day trips scheduled to fish offshore for Bluefin Tuna, Yellowtail and Bonito. Recommended tackle would be a bait rod with 25# or 30#, a jig rod with 40# or 50# and a heavy outfit with 80# or 100#. Shimano Flat Falls, Colt Snipers, Daiwa SK jigs, Salas 6Xjr’s or Tady 9’s are all excellent jigs for this trip. Trips depart at 6:00 AM. NO PASSPORT required for this trip. (Schedule)

If you do not have an advance reservation, there is a strong chance the processors will be unable to process your fish when you return back to the dock.
