Tackle Recommendations from the Boats for Bluefin trips.

For day time fishing, they are recommending

50lb flyline with a #1 mutu or a 1/0 mutu circle hook

30lb flyline with #2 Owner Mutu Hook. For the guys that want to fish a jig, try a 100 or 130 Colt Sniper or Zakana jigs. We would recommend fishing the jigs on a 50 to 60lb outfit.

For night time fishing, we are still recommending 80 to 100lb outfits and 300 to 400 grams jigs with 130 to 200lb leaders.

The Condor called in with 65 Bluefin Tuna (up to 183 lbs) to start their 2 day trip with 31 anglers. 

The Pacific Queen called in with LIMITS of Bluefin Tuna (46) and 23 Yellowfin Tuna on their 1.5 Day charter for 23 anglers.

The Fortune called in with LIMITS of Bluefin Tuna and 10 Yellowtail on day 1 of a 2.5 day private charter. 

The Liberty caught 50 Bluefin Tuna, 4 Yellowfin Tuna, and 7 Yellowtail for 20 anglers on their 2 day private chjarter. 

The Pegasus called in with 61 Bluefin Tuna (50-150 lbs) on their 3 day private charter. 

The Dolphin AM trip caught 219 Rockfish for 53 anglers.

The Dolphin PM caught 40 Rockfish and 1 Sheep Head for 54 anglers. 

The Islander is returning this morning with 111 Bluefin Tuna (between 25-180 lbs) , 18 Yellowtail and 1 Yellowfin Tuna for 26 anglers on a 3 day trip.

The Mustang caught 12 Bluefin Tuna and 4 Yellowfin Tuna on their Overnight trip for 19 anglers.

The Dolphin PM trip caught 36 Rockfish, 6 Sandbass, 1 Sculpin for 26 anglers.

The Dolphin AM trip caught 210 Rockfish for 29 anglers.

The Pacific Queen returned this morning with 65 Bluefin Tuna (60 - 170 lbs.) for 28 anglers on a 2 day trip. 

The Fortune is returning this morning with 30 Bluefin Tuna (1 @ 270 lbs.) and 5 Yellowtail for 15 anglers on a 2.5 day charter. 

The Pacific Dawn is returning this morning with 12 Bluefin Tuna and 5 Yellowifn Tuna for a 1.5 day charter.
