Tackle Recommendations from the Boats for Bluefin trips.

For day time fishing, they are recommending

50lb flyline with a #1 mutu or a 1/0 mutu circle hook

30lb flyline with #2 Owner Mutu Hook. For the guys that want to fish a jig, try a 100 or 130 Colt Sniper or Zakana jigs. We would recommend fishing the jigs on a 50 to 60lb outfit.

For night time fishing, we are still recommending 80 to 100lb outfits and 300 to 400 grams jigs with 130 to 200lb leaders.

The Pacific Dawn called in with 8 Bluefin Tuna for their 1.5 day private charter.

The Dolphin PM trip had 18 rockfish, 2 sculpin, 2 calico bass, and 1 sand bass for 30 anglers.

The Liberty caught 26 Yellowfin Tuna and 12 Bluefin Tuna on their Full Day trip for 38 anglers.

The Mustang caught 20 Bluefin Tuna (half are between 30 and 80 lbs.) for 13 anglers on an overnight trip.

The Dolphin AM trip caught 271 Mixed Rockfish for 25 anglers.

The Pacific Queen called in with 55 Bluefin Tuna between (60-170lb) so far on their 2 day trip for 28 anglers.
 
The Tomahawk returned this morning with 47 Blurfin tuna for their 2 day trip for their 24 anglers.

The Pegasus returned this morning with 15 Bluefun Tuna (60 to 150 lbs.) from a 1.5 day trip for 11 anglers.

The Liberty called in with 72 Bluefin and 20 Yellowfin for their Fullday trip with 40 anglers.

The Dolphin PM trip caught 32 Rockfish for their private charter.

The Dolphin AM trip caught 242 Rockfish for 32 anglers.

The Islander returned this morning with 51 Bluefin Tuna (50 to 180 lbs.) for 20 anglers on a 2.5 day trip. 

The Condor returned this morning with 38 Bluefin Tuna (10 @ 100-180 lbs) for their 1.5 day trip for their 22 anglers. 

The Pacific Queen returned this morning with LIMITS (30) of Bluefin Tuna (60 to 140 lbs.) for 15 anglers on a 1.5 day charter.
