The Daily Double 3:00pm trip today is very light and bass fishing was great yesterday! Give us a call at 619-223-1627 or (BOOK HERE).


Friday catch report:

The Daily Double PM trip came back with 59 Calico Bass and 13 Rockfish. Captain Fred reported great Bass fishing conditions for tthe PM trip. 

The Point Loma came back from their Offshore Full Day trip with 6 Bluefin Tuna and 12 Yellowfin Tuna. 

The Mission Belle called in with 70 Barracuda, 27 Yellowtail, 12 Rockfish, 40 Whitefish, 9 Calico Bass, 17 Sculpin and 2 Lingcod for their Full Day. 

The Daily Double came back from their AM 1/2 day trip with 225 Rockcod for their morning trip!


The El Capitan is departing tonight at 9 pm on a 2 day trip with meals included. This trip is a WILL RUN FOR SURE!!! Trip price is $735. (BOOK HERE)

The T-Bird departing Friday night at 6 pm on a 1.5 day trip with mexican permit included is a WILL RUN FOR SURE!!! Trip price is only $400 and fishing has been excellent. (BOOK HERE)

Offshore fishing trip:

The 2023 schedules for the El Capitan, New Lo-An, Oceanside 95 and T-Bird are now available online. Bluefin Tuna from 40# to 100# are biting in 1.5 day range. You can book your reservation through the following links:

Recommended tackle for any of these trips would inclued a 30# live bait rod, 50# bait/jig rod and a heavy outfit with 80# or 100# for sinker rigs / knfie jigs.


 

Local trips:

The Daily Double offers ½ day trip departing everyday at 8:30 AM and 3:00 PM. They have been fishing the local kelp beds for bass, Barracuda and Rockfish. Call our office at (619) 223-1627 to book your reservation.
 

The Mission Belle has full day trips scheduled to fish offshore for Bluefin Tuna, Yellowtail and Bonito. Recommended tackle would be a bait rod with 25# or 30#, a jig rod with 40# or 50# and a heavy outfit with 80# or 100#. Shimano Flat Falls, Colt Snipers, Daiwa SK jigs, Salas 6Xjr’s or Tady 9’s are all excellent jigs for this trip. Trips depart at 6:00 AM. NO PASSPORT required for this trip. (Schedule)

If you're planning on taking a trip with us this season, we encourage you to set up an appointment with one of the 3 fish processors working with Point Loma Sportfishing. If you do not have an advance reservation, there is a strong chance the processors will be unable to process your fish when you return back to the dock.
