Bait anglers were finding success fishing from shore with PowerBait and worms fished off the bottom. Lure anglers were successful slowly trolling inline spinners in gold, silver, and black. Fly anglers were successful both from shore and from boats throwing large (#12 or #10) dark-colored bead-headed wooly bugger or Simi-seal leeches. A dry and dropper combo is also a good approach with a hopper or a dragon fly as your dry fly. Only boats with a single electric motor are allowed on Dogtown Lake. No gas-powered motors. The limit is 2 bass minimum size 13 inches, the limit is 4 trout. Surface temperature 68.5 F, pH 8.23, D.O. 6.6 on 6/26/2023.
