Kaibab Lake Fishing Report
6-26-2023
Arizona Game & Fish Department
The lake is full. Water clarity is improving, but a large algae bloom is present on the lake. Algae blooms can increase the pH of the lake which can make fishing difficult. Try fishing with the wind at your back and fishing deep, this will increase your chances for success. PowerBait, worms, lures, and flies are good approaches for trout, bluegill, and crappie. Worms, hot dogs, and chicken liver are good baits for channel catfish. The limit is 2 bass minimum size 13 inches, the limit is 4 channel catfish, the limit is 4 trout. Only boats with a single 10-horsepower motor (or less) or single electric motor are allowed on Kaibab Lake. Surface temperature 67.1 F, pH 9.65, Dissolved Oxygen (D.O.) 8.1 on 6/26/2023.
