Bass anglers reported an improving bite
4-21-2023
Chad Burton and Chris Borden
Nacimiento rose slightly to 95 percent of capacity, and bass anglers reported an improving bite. Spotted bass went after finesse baits in 5 to 30 feet of water with darter head jigs, Senkos, and Ned rigs in green pumpkin, Ox Blood, and the Peoples Worm working for bites. Some crankbait bass were also reported up shallow. White bass anglers used white in-line white spinners, small swimbaits, and spoons on the troll or cast to good effect. Catfish anglers fooled fish with dip bait, nightcrawlers, and chicken liver.
