All road access to Knoll Lake including FR 95, FR 300, FR 141 and FR 295E is closed for the winter. The lake sits at about 7,300 feet elevation on the Mogollon Rim; this means it is one of the first lakes in the North Central region to freeze. The lake is partially to completely ice covered.
