Buena Vista Lake Fishing Report
2-10-2023
Chad Burton and Chris Borden
The next trout plant is scheduled for the week of February 13th. Get those rods and reels ready. Minijigs, dough bait, Mousetails, and nightcrawlers were excellent bait choices after prior plants. Crappie have been a good bet at Buena Vista lately. And anglers reported that crappie went for Get Bent Baits Shad Sliders in chartreuse and Flicker Shad. Anglers used their meters to locate crappie schools. Another option has been trolling small deep diving crankbaits from kayaks. Bass anglers scored some bites with Green Pumpkin Senkos, drop shot, white spinnerbaits, and live minnows. Catfish anglers soaked dip bait, fresh shrimp, and nightcrawlers for plenty of smaller whiskerfish.
