Drop shot, shaky heads, and Texas rigs all worked for bites in 15 to 40 feet of water. The best colors have been purple, Green Pumpkin, and Ox Blood. Bass also fell for crankbaits over submerged humps and along points. Striper ate cut sardines and live worms in the Marina, at Yellowbar, and in Brazos. Striper also fell for trolled umbrella rigs and deep diving jerkbaits. Catfish took dip bait, cut anchovies, and fresh chicken liver. A trout plant was slated for Pyramid this week by DFWL.
