Fish Report for 12-2-2022
Fishing has been excellent at BV
12-2-2022
Chad Burton and Chris Borden
Fishing has been excellent at BV with trout anglers reporting hefty fish. The reports diminished within days after the plant, but the quality of the fish kept anglers coming back. Minijigs, Mouse Tails and garlic scented dough bait all worked for bites. We’ll keep you posted as soon as we hear news of the next trout plant. All those trout should have stirred up the bass, but there have been few reports of bigger largemouth yet. Don’t forget to try those big trout imitations for some bucket mouths. Senkos, jigs, and crankbaits are also good choices for bass at this time of year. Catfish fell for dip bait, cut baits, and fresh shrimp closer to shore, and crappie took minijigs and small live minnows.
