Fish Report for 11-2-2022
The temps are great from the lake all the way to the top
11-2-2022
The Fly Shop
The storm yesterday brought the river up a tad, it is still pretty clear. The temps are great from the lake all the way to the top. We should see significant boosts to the flows with next week's storms, you should find great water to fish up above the tributaries, head up above Sims to find clear water if the clarity is low. Still seeing some October Caddis up around Dunsmuir. The fish will key on swung or dead-drifted pupa patterns, Mercer's TB October Pupa is a good one. Posse Buggers will also work. The water is extremely clear and the fish are eating smaller black offerings if they aren't chasing down the Octobers. Both red and black Zebra Midges in #18 - 20 are always a good idea along with your favorite Baetis nymph like a black Micro May, Two Bit Hooker, or any of the dark Perdigon patterns.
